Time flies! The Open University of Hong Kong is celebrating its 30^th anniversary this year and it is time for us to look back on our achievements over the past three decades. Established as an institution providing distance learning, today the OUHK has evolved into an innovative, dynamic and full-fledged university offering both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students.

We owe our success not only to the dedication and relentless efforts of our staff, but also to the enthusiastic support from different stakeholders and friends in community. They are the driving force that has propelled us forward all along. I sincerely hope that the OUHK can work even closer with different sectors of the society in the years to come. With your partnership, we stand ready to scale new heights in the provision of quality education for students and make even greater contributions to our society, the nation and the world.
