It is with great pleasure that I extend my warmest congratulations to The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) on the occasion of its 30^th Anniversary.

Over the past three decades of dedication and hard work, OUHK has successfully evolved from being primarily a distance-learning institution to become a fully fledged, dynamic and innovative university. The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers has been delighted to partner with OUHK on a number of professional training initiatives and educational exchanges. Reflecting its motto ‘Disce, Progredere, Crea’ (公誠毅樸，開明進取), we have witnessed OUHK’s commitment to nurturing outstanding professionals able to support the social and economic advancement of Hong Kong, and to cultivating future leaders with integrity, open-mindedness and a continuous desire for knowledge.

We look forward to further strengthening the ties between our two institutions and wish OUHK all possible success in the years ahead.
